  1. Was the chimney f.h. Biddies factory?? Otherwise known as the British train ? Which is where I worked for 7 years before we migrated to Australia in 1964

      • Did the factory make air conditioners and coolers ?? When did the chimney go??

      • Can’t remember the name of the rd, to long ago but I know I had to pass the ritz picture house, worked and lived at astley castle with my dad until I got married to a lovely girl from arley, on 6/08/1955., loved toppers fish& chips.,. O’ the memory’s,.,regards Eric ,., love your site,.,.

  2. i was looking on the memories site at mystery photo’s of a carnival day I don’t no the year but i think i do recognise three out of four persons The King of Mirth is Geoff Plumpton Court Jester Harold Hale and the gentleman kneeing on the cushion was R. G. (Bob) Brackpool photographer with E.V. Openshaw. these three gentlemen had connections with the Nuneaton Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society in the late sixties early seventies so it may be around that date though i’m afraid I don’t know the other courtier. i hope this may help.
