  1. My G G Grandfather Amos Shaw was born in Chilvers Coton in 1811, then joined the Army in 1831. He listed himself as ribbon weaver and my son and I recently visited Nuneaton and had a wonderful time exploring around. We visited the Heritage center in Chilvers Coton and the ribbon collection at Coventry. I would love to be in touch with history buffs from those days. glenn shaw
